The Couderay Waters Regional Land Trust (CWRLT) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) land conservation organization that works with landowners in northwestern Wisconsin to protect and preserve the natural resources of their property.
CWRLT is a non-stock, non-profit Wisconsin corporation with a Sec. 501(c) (3) tax exemption. This tax exemption allows all contributions (membership dues, member donations, and donations of conservation easements or land titles to the Trust) to be tax deductible as provided by law.
Couderay Waters Regional Land Trust was formed and organized in 2002 by conservation- minded landowners in the Couderay watershed region of Sawyer and Washburn counties. The founders of CWRLT realized that a community of dedicated citizens could make a difference in saving natural places.
